  • 1/2 cup salted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar packed
  • 2 tea spoon vanilla
  • 1 tea spoon of cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup Banana’s Mash (I used 1 banana this time)
  • 1/2 cup pecan nuts chopped

Frosting ingredients:

  • 3 ounce of cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoon of butter softened
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup pecan nuts chopped
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray an 8X8 baking dish. Combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla and mix well. I just used a spoon.

  • Add flour, cinnamon and banana and mix well.

  • Fold the pecan nuts.

  • Bake for 22-25 minutes until center is done. It may be a little watery, but that’s okay. Took me 25 minutes. Ovens vary.

  • Let cool completely.

Frosting instructions:

  • For frosting, combine all ingredients except pecans and mix with a hand mixer until well blended. Spread over banana bars and top with pecans.

  • I keep these in the fridge and they are very cold.
