chili cheese dog sliders
These simple sliders are ready to assemble!
Serving: 6 serving
- 1 hawaiian roll package
- 1 hot dog package
- Cheddar cheese sliced or shredded
- chopped white onion
- 1 (15) ounce Chili can With or without beans, as you like
- 2 tablespoon of butter melted
- 1/2 tea spoon garlic powder
-
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a baking dish. Cut the Hawaiian roll horizontally and place the bottom of the roll into the pan. Top with shredded cheddar cheese or sliced cheese. Cut hot dogs in half, slice down the middle and arrange on top of the cheese.
-
Replace the top of the roll with peppers, onions, or other cheeses. Brush tops of rolls with melted butter, dust with garlic powder, and bake in oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops of sliders are golden brown.
The number of sliders you make determines whether you use all the hot dogs in the package. I sometimes take a leftover hot dog and stack another small piece on top of the other hot dog, putting 3 small pieces on each slider.
