Retired workers receive monthly benefits from the Social Security Administration (SSA). SSA also provides Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Disability Benefits, and Survivor Benefits.

SSA will distribute the first payment for June tomorrow, Thursday, June 1st.

Additional Securities Income (SSI) Beneficiaries Get paid on the first or last day of every month, depending on the month. However, people who started receiving social security benefits before May 1997 will get paid on the 3rd of each month. Remaining social security checks are sent based on the recipient’s date of birth.

  • Second Wednesday of each month: Retirees born between the 1st and 10th of each month
  • Third Wednesday: Beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th of each month
  • 4th Wednesday: Retirees born between the 21st and 31st of each month

based on the schedule SSI recipients will receive their June payments on the first day of the month. In addition, SSA will make a second payment on June 30th for the July check.

This second check is for July, but it is sent on the last Friday of June because the first day of the month is Saturday.that’s why In June, SSI payees receive two payments, but in July they receive none.

the rest is Social Security contributions for June will be remitted as follows:

  • June 1: Supplemental Securities Income (SSI) Recipient
  • June 2: Payees who initiated payments before May 1997
  • June 14th: Recipients with date of birth 1-10
  • June 21: Recipients between the ages of 11 and 20
  • June 28: Recipients between the ages of 21-31
  • June 30: SSI Recipient
