15 5 minute tasks that will make you happier and healthier – right away!
If, like me, you’ve made similar mistakes with your New Year’s resolutions in the past and are looking for small ways to change your life for the better, this article is for you.

Incorporate a healthier uncooked breakfast
We all know that a healthy breakfast is very important, but let’s be honest, the morning is usually the most time-consuming time. Add a few no-cook “assembled” breakfasts to your repertoire instead of getting packaged granola bars. These delicious overnight oats, upgraded avocado toast, and your new go-to smoothie.

I started using the foam roller for 5 minutes before bed each night to relieve the tension that had built up in my body throughout the day. Here are six ways to get started today.

add a handful of spinach to your smoothie
Did you know we are big fans Breakfast smoothie here. And if you’re not a big fan of spinach, there’s no better way to get your hands on the greens than by tossing a handful of fresh or frozen spinach into the blender along with the other ingredients. You’ll be surprised at how the flavor of the sake disappears.

Many delicious spices have amazing health benefits. Adding sprinkles to your food is an easy way to add flavor and nutrition to your food. Add half a teaspoon of cinnamon to your oatmeal and coffee. It has been shown to lower blood sugar levels. Adding turmeric to stir-fries and chili packs additional antioxidants.

In the last few months of starting meditation, I have fully realized the benefits of breathing. Taking a five-minute break makes all the difference. It’s a simple exercise that improves mood, reduces stress, and focuses energy where it’s needed.

For me, water falls into the “out of sight, out of mind” category, so I do my best to always keep a bottle full of filtered water on my desk or in my car. On days when I stay hydrated all day, I feel more focused and awake. this is my current favorite.

You’ve probably heard that the blue light in our electronics really interferes with our sleep because it interferes with melatonin production and tricks our brain into thinking it’s daytime. If you’re not familiar with this nifty little iPhone and iPad setup yet, get ready to blow your mind. If this feature is enabled, each night when Night Shift mode is initiated, your phone will automatically adjust its display to emit a warm light that doesn’t disturb sleep as much as regular blue light. Wash vegetables as soon as you get home from the grocery store
It only takes a few minutes to rinse and dry your veggies when you get home from the store, but it can transform into a week of rushed produce. Store hardy vegetables in a glass container with a lid, out of sight in the refrigerator. When we’re craving a snack, we tend to reach for vegetables and hummus. Here are some other time-saving grocery store habits I try to adopt.

Yes, you can pack a healthy and delicious lunch in less time than picking something up from a fast food window. Hard-boiled eggs, avocados, nuts and seeds, and homemade dressings for weekend dinners.If you’re looking for more salad inspiration, try my take This viral recipe.
stretching while watching tv
Stretching is one of those things that is often pushed to the bottom of our priority list, but it makes a huge difference in how your body feels. If you have time to go to Netflix, you have time to stretch. When I’m watching the show, I’m used to devoting her first five minutes to getting down on the floor and doing a few stretches. Bonus: They help me sleep better too.

keep a gratitude journal
Writing down what you are grateful for for a few minutes has been shown to lower stress levels, improve sleep, and increase happiness. In other words, a big explosion for 5 minutes. The key is to start doing it regularly so that it becomes a habit. I keep a notebook and pen on my nightstand and every night I write down a few things I am grateful for that day. No need to worry about handwriting or complete sentences. The simple act of writing naturally invites reflection.

I love learning how successful women stay energized and inspired throughout their day. Naturally, I asked my favorite woman to share a secret (read it here!). Make your bed every morning, like most people do. Simple tasks give you an instant sense of accomplishment and make you feel like you can get through whatever the day throws at you. Plus, starting with that one good habit of hers creates a domino effect. The pleasant vibes from working on it motivate you not to skip other positive tasks.
