Longtime talk show host Jerry Springer died Thursday at the age of 79 at his home in the Chicago suburbs.
“Jerry’s ability to connect with people has been central to all his successes in politics, broadcasting, and joking with people on the street wanting pictures and words.” said in a statement.
“He was irreplaceable and his loss will be very painful, but the memory of his intelligence, heart and humor will live on,” Galvin continued.
