Tesla re-launches Model 3 that was way too popular

Tesla currently offers the Model 3 long-range all-wheel drive on its website for $42,420. The vehicle was removed from Tesla’s website last year after CEO Elon Musk said the waiting list for the vehicle was too long.

Tesla is offering a new configuration alongside the Model 3 rear-wheel drive and Model 3 Performance. Previously, vehicles were dimmed in Design Studio with the message “Available in 2023”.

The new Model 3 configuration hasn’t been available since August 2022, when the automaker first grayed out the option and said it wouldn’t be available again until 2023.

Deliveries are scheduled for June 2023, according to Tesla. According to Tesla, the vehicle will offer a range of over 325 miles. Additionally, it has a top speed of 145 MPH and a 0-60 MPH acceleration rate of 4.2 seconds.

Tesla indicates that this vehicle qualifies for $3,750 of the $7,500 EFV tax credit.

Tesla halted vehicle orders after CEO Elon Musk said the waiting list was “too long,” and the automaker planned to deliver the vehicles when production ramped up again.

The Model 3 is built at the Fremont factory in Northern California, and Tesla has long struggled with space constraints at the factory. The Model 3 is his second most popular vehicle in Tesla’s lineup, after the all-electric crossover Model Y.

We are frequently keeping up with Fremont’s progress and reporting on the paperwork submitted as the automaker continues to refine its factory. Tesla is looking to ramp up production with more factories in Berlin and Texas, but Fremont is still a big contributor to the company’s shipments.

The Model 3 Long Range not only offers an AWD powertrain, but also excellent range for those who don’t want the acceleration and speed of a performance configuration. Tesla continues to expand its most robust Supercharger network in the world, making it an ideal choice for many drivers.
