My Favorites These are this week hydroseal band aidIf you’ve ever had blisters on your heels or deal with frequent blisters, these Band-Aids are a complete and complete game changer. It’s absolutely precious. Total pain relief literally from the moment you apply them.
What I see: brain on fire. I read Book We talked about it at length a few months ago. So, naturally, when I saw it popping up on Netflix, I had to watch the movie immediately.
My review of the book:
This is the true story of a 24-year-old woman who woke up strapped to a hospital bed. She was labeled as violent and psychotic, and at one point was even assigned a 24/7 security guard before her illness progressed to catatonic. Her hospital records and her father’s diary tell the story of a full month spent in the hospital.
The book tells the story of the lightning speed of her illness (the literal descent into madness) and her life while all the other doctors take her to the psychiatric ward, ready to walk. It chronicles the amazing last-minute diagnoses and interventions that saved. over there. Her illness is now thought to be responsible for many “demonic possessions” throughout history. It was a fascinating look at a disease that literally sets the brain on fire.
