Cincinnati — Cincinnati has a budding rivalry underway. Less than a year after their thrilling AFC Championship game, the Bengals and Chiefs will meet again in a game that rivals the excitement of their last two games. The Bengals shook the opposition in overtime last season with a Shootout victory over the Chiefs in Week 15 for a Super Bowl spot.
Along with two talented teams, the game features an epic quarterback matchup between Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow. Mahomes has continued to perform well this season despite Tyreek Hill’s move to Miami. Burrow continues to play at a high level, even as Jamar Chase has missed the last four games with a hip injury. Cindy will bring Chase back, but not Joe Mixon, who was on hiatus after last Sunday’s victory in Nashville.
Chiefs safety Justin Reed was even more intrigued by the game when he called out Bengals players, though he couldn’t remember the name of tight end Hayden Hurst and mentioned Tee Higgins. Reed’s comments were not received by the Bengals, who undoubtedly beat the Chiefs for the third time in a year.
