Phoenix — Luka Doncic Leaving the Mavericks Thursday night win over Phoenix Suns After a left ankle sprain.
He never returned to play or to the Dallas bench.
Coach Jason Kidd said Doncic was “feeling fine” after the win, but didn’t provide details about the 23-year-old’s All-Star status ahead of Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
“He looked good. He looked fine,” Kidd said. We’ll probably have more information once we get to Utah. ”
Kidd said he spoke with Doncic before halftime and the post-match press conference.
“He was laughing,” Kidd said. His grit for his DP tonight was at a high level. The hallmark of that team is that they played hard and found ways to win. ”

Casey Smith, director of player health and performance, met Doncic on the court when play stopped and walked directly into the locker room with him.
