Pokemon Go Starry Skies Special Research tasks & rewards

Pokémon GO has launched another way for Trainers to encounter Cosmog during the Solstice Horizons event, through a special research quest called Starry Skies. Here’s everything we know about it.

Pokémon GO’s newest event, Solstice Horizons, is finally available for Trainers, and it’s also added new Special Research Quests for fans to complete.

Special research called “Starry Skies” will give Trainers a second free encounter with Cosmog, as well as a ticket option to complete two tasks for a total of three encounters with Nebby.

Here’s everything we know about Starry Sky Special Research, including the day and night branches.

Starry Sky Special Research Tasks and Rewards

Step 1/4

• Explore 2km – Meet Sorosis
• Catch 2 Psychic-type Pokémon – Abra Encounter
• Catch 10 different Pokémon – Gothita Encounter

Reward: Wobafett Encounter, 5 Raspberries, 7 Stardust

Pokémon Go trainers will now be able to choose between lunch and dinner brunch.

Step 2 of 4

• Catch 20 Grass-type or Bug-type Pokémon – 10 Poké Balls
• Explore 10km – Inkei
• Spin 25 PokéStops or Gyms – 10 Pinup Berries

Reward: Galalyadon Encounter, 15 Poké Balls, 78 Stardust

Step 3/4

• Throw 10 curveballs in a row – 3,000 Stardust
• Catch 50 Pokémon with Weather Boost – Encounter with Metang
• Earn 10 candies for walking with friends – 15 great balls

Rewards: Starmie Encounter, 1 Mossy Lure Module, 789 Stardust

Step 4/4

• Hatch 5 eggs – 5 silver pinnap berries
• Catch 50 Psychic-type Pokémon – Encounter Alakazam
• Earn 7,890 Stardust – 1 Starpiece

Rewards: Cosmog Encounter, 20 Ultra Balls, 7,890 Stardust

• Take a Snapshot of 20 Wild Pokémon – Inkay Encounter

Step 3/4

• 5 excellent pitches – 3,000 Stardust
• Catch 30 different Pokémon – Metang Encounter
• Complete 15 Field Research Tasks – 15 Great Balls

Reward: Starme Encounter, 1 Glacial Lure Module, 789 Stardust

Step 4/4

• Win 5 Raids – 3 Silver Pinup Berries
• Catch 50 Psychic-type Pokémon – Encounter Alakazam
• Earn 7,890 Stardust – 1 Starpiece

Rewards: Cosmog Encounter, 20 Ultra Balls, 7,890 Stardust

Pokémon GO Starry Sky Special Research Task with Ticket

After completing one task during the Solstice Horizons event, Trainers can purchase a $5 ticket from the Pokémon Go shop to complete a second task.

Special research tasks and rewards for obtaining tickets are the same as in the free version.
