One person was injured Thursday in a shooting during an altercation at a home in Southwest Miami-Dade.
According to Miami-Dade Police, the shooting occurred in the 5800 block on southwest 118th Street just before 3 p.m.
The victim and the shooter told police that they had had a heated argument, which turned into an altercation that escalated into a shooting.
Police said the victim suffered at least two gunshot wounds to his upper extremities. He was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Property records show the home belonged to a retired UFC fighter. Police were unable to confirm the owner of the home, but said they did not believe Masvidal was involved.
Police said several people were at the house at the time and were being questioned. They have not identified anyone involved in the shooting.
