Walt Disney World to close Star Wars: Galactic The resort announced Thursday that one of its newest and flashiest attractions, the Star Cruiser, will open at the end of September.
A tribute to the ultra-immersive and ultra-expensive world of Star Wars Opening in spring 2022 with much fanfare.
Guests will pay approximately $4,800 to $6,000 per person for a two-night immersive experience, depending on the size of your party.
The concept is touted as more than a sci-fi-inspired hotel stay. Voyage includes two nights accommodation, all meals, programming, entertainment, and exclusive access to the Galaxy’s Edge area of Hollywood Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida.
When asked by CNN why Disney was closing the attraction, a spokeswoman said it was a “business decision” and did not give details. As for the fate of the building that will house the future experience, Disney said it “cannot share anything at this time.”
