Drake once again had a fan throw something at the stage during a concert, but he fixed the bad fan behavior.
The Hotline Bling singer, 36, called off a show Thursday at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center after a fan threw an e-cigarette on the stage.
“Did you vape here?” Come on. who threw this? Who threw the e-cigarette,” he said in a fan-posted video. tick tock.
“If you think I’m going to pick up this e-cigarette and smoke with you at Barclays Center, you’re not taking life seriously,” Drake continued.
“It has to be evaluated in real life.”
The God’s Plan rapper briefly kicked the vape onstage, then picked it up with a picket and said it tasted “lemon mint.”
This isn’t the first time a Canadian player has had an object thrown at him during a performance, nor is it the second time.
Earlier this month, fans threw bras and underwear on stage during a performance in Detroit.
In a video posted on TikTok, the Rich Flex hitmaker is seen picking up one of his bras and joking that it’s “cleaning duty.”
Various other items are also seen littering the stage, including baseball caps that are thrown there as he walks around.
But then an unseen fan flung a large black, white, and red trainer at his side, performing a short somersault in the air before landing a few feet away.
“Oh shit!” he shouted into the microphone as he noticed a rolling shoe and ran towards it.
“What are you talking about?” he asks. “This is not what we want to see, big** shoes.”
He continued, “No, no, no. Bras only.
“This is what I want you to do for me, Detroit,” Drake said as he walked around the stage, picking up all the clothing and items, including things like disposable cameras.
Please stop throwing bras here,” he continued. “I feel like it’s my turn to clean up tonight.”
Earlier this month, Drake was singing a cover of Ginuwine’s “So Anxious” during a performance in Chicago when his mobile phone hit his wrist and fell to the ground.
Luckily, the God’s Plan hitmaker was not injured and continued with the first concert of his four-month-long tour.
