Introducing the new course “Squeaky Clean Sprint”
Mario Kart 8 DeluxeThe next DLC course is coming to Switch this summer, Nintendo announced Wednesday during a Nintendo Direct livestream. Wave 5 of the Booster Course Path Mario Kart 8 Deluxe adds an all-new track, the Squeaky Clean Sprint, and three new drivers (Petey Piranha, Wiggler and Kamek) to the playable roster.

A new course, Squeaky Clean Sprint, sends players to a bubble-filled bathroom where miniature racers race across a track made from slippery tile floors, bathtubs and towels.
previous course wave Mario Kart 8 Deluxe dropped in March, bringing an all-new course, Yoshi’s Island, and a returning racer, Bird, to the Switch game. Of course, the sixth and final wave is expected by the end of 2023.
Mario Kart 8 DeluxeThe Booster Course Pass is priced at $24.99 and can be purchased from the Nintendo eShop. This pass is also included in the Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack for $49.99/year for individuals and $79.99/year for families.
According to Nintendo Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best-selling game in Switch history, with over 53 million copies sold as of March 31, 2023.
