Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Receives New Quality Of Life Update

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection got off to an incredibly strong start earlier this year, shipping over 1 million copies worldwide in less than a month.

Well, Capcom has issued an all-new Quality of Life update. According to a quick synopsis via social media, it includes some important bug fixes, new Mega Man voice options, adding another border, and more.

Thankfully, the full patch notes have also been shared. Here’s the full overview:

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Update – July 4, 2023

A “Rockman Voice” option has been added to the language settings.
A new (black) border has been added.

MMBN 1-6
The online battle custom screen time limit has been changed to 30 seconds.
Fixed an error with in-game messages in both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

MMBN 3-6
Fixed an issue that caused problems with the registration status and display of PA memos when comparing libraries.

MMBN 4 & 6
Fixed an issue where using WindRack on an opponent at certain times during an online match would force the opponent out of the screen.

MMBN 5 & 6
Fixed an issue where performing certain actions on custom screens would leave part of the screen visible after the start of the next turn.

MMBN 1
Fixed an issue that could cause an error when jacking into a power plant under certain conditions.

MMBN 4
Fixed an issue where an error would occur when talking to Navi with certain characters in the entry name in WaitingRoom.
Fixed an issue where fighting ShadeMan SP could cause unexpected behavior when certain conditions were met.
Fixed an issue where the skill would deal more damage than intended when AntiRecv was activated with certain chips in online matches.

MMBN 5
Fixed an issue where Drill Comp 4 would display jerky images and slow performance.
Fixed an issue where unnatural behavior would occur when talking to NPCs after examining Mystery Data etc. at certain points in the story.

MMBN6
Fixed an issue that caused the player to fall out of the cloud when pressing the jackout button while riding a cloud in MrWeathrComp or Pavilion Comp 3.
Fixed an issue in online battles where spent crosses and chips would become available again at the start of a turn depending on network strength.
Fixed an issue where the initial reward for completing a virus battle while playing in English was different than when playing in Japanese and Traditional/Simplified Chinese.
Fixed performance degradation when performing certain actions after setting Swordy in Virus Battle.
