Mario Cristobal The Miami Hurricanes are entering an early signing period to put the finishing touches on a special recruiting class.
After a disappointing 2022 season with Miami going 5-7, the Hurricanes are closing in on the top 5 class, according to the 247Sports Team Recruiting Rankings.
Miami enters the early signing period from Wednesday, December 21 through Friday, December 23, with 24 commitments.
Three of Miami’s commitments are ranked as 5-star prospects: CB Cormani McClainOL Frances Maui GoreOL Samson Okunrolla.
UM has never signed at least three five-star prospects in its 247Sports Era hiring cycle dating back to the 2011 cycle.
If this UM class stays together through the early signing period, it will be the best class the Hurricanes have signed in the 247Sports era.
The Hurricanes now possess a 247Sports Adoption Score of 292.97 overall, starting the day in the third-best class in the nation. The highest class Miami signed in his 247Sports era before this 2018 was the 2018 class, with a class score of 280.87, and that cycle ranked him 8th overall in the country.
Miami is poised to sign the best class in the ACC, something the Hurricanes have failed to achieve in the 247Sports era.
