Miranda Lambert has sparked controversy among fans after canceling a concert to accuse two fans of taking selfies during a live performance.
In a viral TikTok video posted on Sunday (July 16), the country singer performs her 2016 song “Tin Man” on stage at the Buckt Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas residency. You can see the preparations being made.
But just as she finished the first verse, the 39-year-old Lambert suddenly said: “Let’s stop here for a minute.”
After apologizing to the pianist, she pointed in front of the audience and said:
“Sorry, I don’t like it at all. I’m here to listen to country music tonight. I’m singing country music,” she added. “Shall we start again?”
As Lambert resumes the song to the cheers of the crowd, the video captures a woman standing up and saying, “Let’s go.” I don’t do that to my fans. ”
Several other fans commented on the video in solidarity with the concert-goers leaving early.
“Oh man, I would have quit, motherfucker. They paid to be there. If you don’t want to be photographed, don’t allow them to use your cell phone. That’s crazy!” one person answered.
“I love Miranda, what?” the second wrote, while the third agreed, “I love her, but this really pissed me off.”
“Is she going to ask people to go to the bathroom too?” I was reluctant to do that…if I paid…I’ll take as many pictures as I want,” another person added.

Others, however, praised Lambert, writing, “If I’m doing my best, I want someone to notice that I’m singing too.”
“Good for Miranda. This song is so special and beautiful,” said another.
Independent has reached out to Lambert’s representative for comment.
The “I’ll Be Lovin’ You” singer’s verbal abuse comes amid a series of incidents involving live performers and concert-goers.
In June, Bebe Lexa was hit in the face by a phone call from a crowd while she was performing in New York.
Afterwards, she was rushed to the hospital, where she had stitches over her left eye and shared a selfie on Instagram of her black eye with medical tape wrapped around her left brow.
Just a week later, “Sweet But Psycho” singer Max was attacked and slapped across the face by a man who broke into the stage during a concert in Los Angeles.
In London, Pink was left speechless after a fan threw a plastic bag containing her mother’s ashes onto the stage. She also received a large French Brie wheel from another fan.
Country pop singer Kelsea Ballerini also got a bracelet in her eye during a concert in Idaho.
