Pamela Anderson addresses a discussion about a story about her ‘Home Improvement’ co-star Tim Allen, part of her new memoir ‘Love Pamela’.
In an excerpt from her book published by Variety earlier this week, Anderson claims: That Allen flashed her to show his dick In 1991, when she was 23 and Allen was 37, they were working on a sitcom.
Earlier this week, Allen denied that the incident happened, but Anderson now seems to want to let people know she had no malice in what she said.
“Tim is a comedian. It’s his job to cross the line. I’m sure he meant nothing.” Variety reported that she shared it with the publication via text message. “Though times have changed. I doubt anyone will try a #MeToo post. It’s a new world.”
In a memoir excerpt about the alleged incident, Anderson recalled what happened on the first day of filming.
“When I left the locker room, Tim was in the hallway in his robe.” He opened his robe and flashed me quickly—completely naked underneath. I saw it, so I said it was fair, now we’re equal.
The excerpt does not mention when or how Allen saw Anderson naked.
Anderson posed for Playboy several times throughout her career in 1989, a few years before the incident.
“No, it never happened,” Allen said in a statement to CNN on Monday. “I would never do that.”
Anderson is also the subject of “Pamela, a Love Story,” which premieres on Netflix on January 31 when her memoir is set to be published.
