Salman, Aamir, Rani & More Attend Pamela Chopra’s Prayer Meeting

Pamela Chopra, wife of legendary film director Yash Chopra, died Thursday at the age of 74. A prayer meeting was now held in Mumbai on Sunday, attended by many film fraternity. Salman Khan, who has delivered several blockbusters under her YRF banner like her series Tiger, arrived at Pamela’s Chopra prayers late in the evening. Star Aamir Khan attended a prayer meeting with his son Junaid Khan. Rani Mukerji, who is married to Pamela Chopra’s son Aditya Chopra, attended the evening prayers, also click her Preity Zinta who worked in the iconic film Veer-Zaara directed by Yash Chopra I have arrived at the meeting.
Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapoor and director Karan Johar arrived on the premises to pay their respects. Actor Hrithik Roshan’s father, Rakesh Roshan, was also spotted with his wife Pinky Roshan. For those who don’t know, Abhishek Bachchan in his YRF’s Dhoom series he plays the iconic character of ACP his Jai Dixit and Aditya Roy Kapoor backed by Yash Raj Films. He played the lead role in the film Daawat-e-Ishq.
Actors Riteish Deshmukh and Divya Dutta were also clicked upon entering the premises. Film critic Anupama Chopra and director Zoya Akhtar were also clicked on their way out of the vehicle and into the vehicle.
Veteran actress Dimple Kapadia and Katrina Kaif’s husband Vicki Kaushal also attended the prayer meeting. Kirana Rao and Bollywood singer Udit Narayan also arrived on the premises to pay their respects.
Yash Chopra’s wife, Pamela Chopra, died on April 20 at the age of 74. She has her two sons Aditya and her Uday Chopra. Pamela Chopra was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after being diagnosed with pneumonia, reported PTI. has been in the ICU for 15 days,” Dr Prahlad Prabhudesai told news agency PTI.
Her final ceremony took place around 11:00 am on Thursday. Many of the film fraternity have visited the producer’s home since the last three days after the family broke the news of Pamela Chopra’s death on Twitter. Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal, Kajol, Manisha Koirala, Kiron Karr and other stars paid their final respects at Aditya Chopra’s home in Juhu on Thursday.
Amitabh Bachchan, along with his son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, were spotted outside the producer’s home on Thursday night. Jaya Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kiara Advani , Sidharth Malhotra and other stars visited Aditya Chopra on Friday.
