The first of many upcoming updates is The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom of Tears The first question on everyone’s mind when it was dropped last night on May 18th was: Are infinite item glitches safe?? And yes, it is. The update version 1.1.1 also fixes other bugs, but luckily it doesn’t.

Fixed an issue where the main quest “The Closed Door” could not be cleared even if the quest progression conditions were met.

This is good news for those struggling with the Closed Door quest, but the vague second bullet point about “some issues” has caused some players to also have issues with the recently discovered duplication glitch bug. I was worried that there might be it’s not. As I and many others have noticed after testing the game since the update was installed, you can use the swap bow trick to copy items that can be attached to arrows. This includes things like diamonds that sell for hundreds of rupees, and powerful fuse items dropped by enemies like the Black Moblin Horn.Full instructions on how the item duplication glitch works can be found here.
Players had no shortage of tricks Breath of the Wild from supercharged items to the power of flight through endless jumpsbut tears of the kingdom‘s replication glitches have been surprisingly easy to fix so far. Nintendo will probably patch them at some point, and a hotfix to address them could come out at any time. But at least for now, players still have time to make the most of their wealth and rarest items.
