Some confirmed purchasers of the PC port claim the copy crashes every 20 minutes, while others complain that it’s poorly optimized. Building shaders is also a source of frustration for many.
Earlier in the day, Naughty Dog blog post Here’s a detailed look at the work done on the PC version of The Last of Us: Part I. However, with so many negative reviews from users at launch, it’s clear something isn’t right under the hood of the PC.
Despite all these issues, the developers are pushing hard to co-develop PS5 and PC. It wouldn’t be a surprise if The Last of Us multiplayer launches on both platforms, so the studio hopes to steadily clean up these teething issues.
