Founded in 1875, the resort town of Ocean City is, as you might expect, famous for its beaches and 4.1 kilometers of historic boardwalk. With up to 8 million visitors each year, he is one of the East Coast’s most popular holiday destinations. If you like being near water, this is the place for you.

In addition to relaxing on the beach and cruising the boardwalk, I wanted to do a few things a little out of the ordinary while in Ocean City. Don’t get me wrong, I love mini golf and water parks as much as the girl next door, but those places have to wait. Ocean City is definitely a watersports enthusiast’s dream, with everything from surfing to jet skiing to fishing boat tours. However, in my itinerary to Ocean City, I made time for a morning standing paddleboard class (I can’t wait!).
On Sunday, I made time to take a boat to nearby Assateague Island to catch a glimpse of the island’s famous wild horses. The horse is believed to be the survivor of a Spanish ship that sank offshore. what i always wanted to do.
When it comes to restaurants, Ocean City seems to have too many great options. I chose a restaurant with excellent reviews and menus. And who can stand piping hot Boardwalk fries?
