Welcome to the weekend! Our weekend is a little less exciting than last week as we tackle all the errands and household chores we neglected last week because we were enjoying time with visiting family.

Also, I’ve been indoors more than outdoors due to the extreme humidity zone. It’s true that rain makes everything beautiful and green, but it also leaves a lot of moisture in the air.

About this week’s blog: Tangy and smoky flavors are combined in this Chili Lime Shrimp recipe. With just a simple marinade of fresh lime juice, chili powder and plenty of garlic, one bite will make you crave another.

Fill warm tortillas with fluffy scrambled eggs, roast potatoes, crunchy bacon and melty cheese to create mouthwatering bacon and egg tacos. Perfect anytime for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Crispy, rustic spinach leaves are blended with ripe frozen bananas and orange juice to create an out-of-this-world banana spinach smoothie.

A combination of sweet corn, crunchy peppers and onions, rich cream cheese and spicy jalapenos. creamy fiesta corn dip The perfect snack for any occasion.

This soft and moist Zucchini meatloaf with a tantalizing balsamic flavor It has appeared on our table three times in the last few months.served with vegetable rice pilaf and Mashed potatoes. If you’re lucky enough to have leftovers, you can also make a great meatloaf sandwich.

Sweet corn, creamy potatoes and crunchy bacon are tossed with a smoky, tangy street corn dressing. Create your dream bacon potato salad.

The fluffy and chewy oatmeal cookie with plenty of raisins is a standard cookie that we can continue to make at home. These were Sean’s favorite cookies for as long as I can remember.

The rich, buttery homemade salted caramel transforms perfectly into this irresistible salted caramel ice cream.

Slightly chewy and sweet and sour, rhubarb oatmeal bar Combining a crunchy oat topping with flavorful rhubarb, this dessert is a treat for the whole family.

A rich and luxurious chocolate, easy to make and a full-fledged expression. old fashioned chocolate shoe store. It’s a chocolate lover’s dream!

What I crave: Sean and I went out for lunch this week and really enjoyed the delicious sushi, but now I want more. (Of course!) I think it’s time to put friends to the test Rebecca’s Sushi Bake An optional recipe for multiple servings for dinner that is much easier on a budget. That’s amazing!

my favorite This week this ice cream scoop. I’ve been having so much fun playing with new recipes lately that I forgot how many times I’ve made ice cream this week. We love ice cream, so we’ve tried ice cream scoops endlessly over the years.

This ice cream scoop does the best job yet at carving hard ice cream and still gives you a good scoop. And it’s one of the cheapest scoops I own, so you get bonus points too.

What I hear: Drew Holcombe & The Neighbors “Strangers No More”. About a week ago my cousin Hannah sent me a link to this album and she loves it. They’re an Americana band, with a sound similar to The Revivalist, The Lumineers, The Avett Brothers. Definitely worth checking out.

I say to the Lord, “My refuge, my stronghold, my God in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:2 ESV

I hope you have a wonderful week full of small things that make you smile!
