Activision has announced the release date and closed beta details for Crash Team Rumble.

The 4v4 multiplayer game releases on June 20th on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and Xbox One.

There will also be a closed beta for players who pre-ordered the game on April 20-24.

The beta includes 5 characters and 3 maps: Crash, Coco, Tauna, Neo Cortex, and Dingodile.

Crash Team Rumble is priced at $29.99 for the Standard Edition and $39.99 for the Deluxe Edition.

The Standard Edition includes the game, closed beta access (for pre-orderers), and the Premium Battle Pass for Season 1.

The Deluxe Edition also includes the above features plus the Premium Battle Pass for Season 2, Instant Unlock of 25 Tiers for Season 1, and a Digital Proto Pack with the Blocky skin and equipable items.

The final game will include a roster of heroes and villains from the Crash Bandicoot series, each falling into one of three roles: Blocker, Booster, and Scorer.

Players must work together to accumulate the most Wumpa fruits in the drop-off zone while preventing their opponents from doing the same.

Each character has its own relic power and players must choose the best character to help their team.

Activision has also confirmed that the game will include cross-platform play.

Crash Team Rumble is developed by Toys for Bob, the studio behind Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
