Daisy Ridley will reprise her role as Rey in the upcoming Star Wars The film is directed by Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, with Dave Filoni and James Mangold directing the other films in the franchise.
The news was revealed this morning at the Star Wars Celebration in London, where Ridley made a guest appearance. Peaky Blinders Creator Stephen Knight is set after the events of the franchise’s previous episode IX: Rise of Skywalker, And as she builds a new Jedi Order. Meanwhile, Dave Filoni and James Mangold will helm two other new films in the franchise, one of which will focus on Rise of the Jedi and the other on the New Republic.
Star Wars Celebration also featured performers such as Jude Law and Rosario Dawson. mandalorian spin off skeleton crew and Ahsoka. The latter has unveiled a trailer and is set to release as the next series in the Disney+ franchise in August 2023.
