Have you ever stayed in a room with twin beds? My grandmother’s house in England has the above facilities, and I used to sleep there from an early age. Doesn’t it look attractive? Well, on this lazy Tuesday, here are my claims for twin beds for guests (*waters down*)…
If there are two twins in the room, guests can combine them. Parents can co-sleep with their kids without getting kicked in the ribs all night, and adult friends, siblings and relatives can easily co-sleep.
Even if you’re a couple, it’s kind of nice to stretch out in your own place once in a while.
I also like how it looks like a guest room. The twin beds immediately make me feel welcome. Maybe it’s because I grew up tucked into her one bed (with the bed) hot water bottle) every time I visit relatives.
Do you think they are too childish? It’s not uncommon in the UK to have twin beds in an adult room, but in the US twin beds seem to be for children only, what do you think?
Maybe casual is better.Similarly, when it comes to the rooms, great Designer Rita Koenig I prefer the shared bathroom in the hallway over the private bathroom. “Sometimes homes become so much like hotels that people disappear into suites. It can be rather ghostly,” she says. “Passer life is good.” Don’t you think so? I love having my friends stay over at my house and brushing my teeth together and bumping into each other when I drink water after bed. Feel like camping!
And sharing a bedside table is also a bonding moment.
What do you think? Do you want (or do you have) twin beds? What touches do you like in your room?
PS What is the number one must-have item for guests, the best book to have in the guest room? And what about two duvets in one bed?
