Lance Reddick, star of the ‘The Wire’ and ‘John Wick’ franchises, has died. he was 60 years old.
A rep for the actor confirmed his death to ABC News, saying on Friday he “died suddenly this morning of natural causes.”
Reddick, who played Baltimore cop Cedric Daniels on HBO’s acclaimed drama ‘The Wire’, most recently scored a memorable and recurring performance on the ‘John Wick’ series as The Continental’s concierge, Charon . March 24th.
The actor also appeared in ‘Fringe’, ‘Bosch’ and Netflix’s ‘Resident Evil’ series. He is also a veteran voice-over talent, giving his voice to video games such as the Destiny franchise, 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn, and the 2022 sequel, Horizon Forbidden West.

Reddick is survived by his wife Stephanie and children Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick.
“Lance will be very lonely,” his rep said. “At this time, please respect his family’s privacy.”
