Having launched two new smaller models on the heels of the original 48ft Open, Solaris Power is working to expand its range even further, starting with this new Solaris Power 52 Open.
Like its predecessor, Solaris claims a teardrop-shaped footprint with a widened vertical bow and deep V-shaped aft section to provide a very dry, stable and comfortable ride, while still allowing plenty of space above and below deck for guests.
We’ll have to wait for a sea trial to confirm any seaworthiness claims, but these early renderings do show a large, spacious cockpit with a full walk-around deck leading to a spacious foredeck lounge.
The designers made good use of the space and gave owners three different cockpit layouts to choose from. The first features a pair of regular straight sofas facing each other across a teak dining table, with a large outdoor galley to the front.
The other two feature a much larger C-shaped sofa facing forward or backward, a second straight sofa opposite and a slimmed-down wet bar behind the triple helm seats.
Combined with a pair of folding breakwaters that increase visibility and increase deck space even more, this makes for one of the most attractive dayboat layouts we have ever seen on a vessel of this size.
Below deck you have more options, either 2 spacious double cabins (one on each end) and a small single crew cabin down to the harbor, or 2 small doubles and a third twin guest cabin. In both cases, the larger of the two cabins has its own bathroom, and the second bathroom is accessible from the lobby, so it can be used by day guests.

Another big benefit of stepping up from the Solaris Power 48 to the Solaris Power 52 is the large hydraulic bathing platform, plus a parking lot big enough for a Williams MiniJet.
The standard Volvo Penta IPS 650 drive has an estimated top speed of 30 knots and can optionally be upgraded to an IPS800 for 35 knots. Pricing has yet to be announced, but the show debut is expected to take place at the 2023 Cannes Yacht Festival in September.
