  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 tablespoon instant dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoon white granulated sugar
  • 1 tea spoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon salted butter softened
  • 1 big egg
  • 3 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 quartz Vegetable oil
  • 3 cup icing sugar


  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine warm milk, yeast, sugar, salt, butter, and eggs. Add flour. Use the dough hook and turn it on at low speed.

  • Once the flour begins to mix into the dough, increase speed to medium. Add more flour as needed until the dough is soft and sticky, but no longer sticky.

  • Transfer dough to a lightly oiled mixing bowl. Cover with a towel and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

  • Pour enough vegetable oil into a pan to cover 2 inches of oil. Heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • It is easier to handle if you divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Roll each piece into an oval.

  • Cut into 16 even pieces with a pizza cutter or knife. Dust with flour and set aside or place in hot oil.

  • Fry the beignets on one side for about 90 seconds or until deep golden brown. Remove them from the oil and place them on a baking rack or a paper towel-lined baking sheet to allow some of the oil to drain.
