green pepper

Canned Rotel Tomatoes with Green Chili Pepper

white or yellow onion

breakfast pork sausage

minced garlic

frozen cowpea

tomato sauce

beef broth

smoked paprika

  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1 Canned Rotel Dead
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tea spoon minced garlic
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 2 cup frozen cowpea
  • 1 15 oz can of tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tea spoon smoked paprika
  • 1 1/2 tea spoon of chili powder
  • 1 tea spoon ground cumin
  • In skillet, cook breakfast sausage, onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic until sausage is no longer brown. Drain the grease.

  • Place sausage mixture and remaining ingredients in a 4-quart saucepan and cook over low heat for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Serve with sour cream, cheese and salty crackers.
