This peach crisp is a great dessert to serve anytime. Just add ice cream to these crisps and you have a perfect dessert for friends and family. This peach crisp is full of peaches and is even more delicious. You can use fresh or frozen peaches in this recipe. Very versatile. Southerners love peaches, and this Southern dish is one you’ll want to make over and over again.
Ingredients needed for Peach Crisp:
canned peaches + canned syrup (you can use fresh peaches, just add water)
white sugar
all purpose flour
baking powder
evaporated milk
salt
nutmeg
cinnamon
As you can see, the ingredients are very simple, but this dish has great flavor. We are a family that loves cinnamon in everything, so we always add extra cinnamon. These crisps are made in a smaller pan, but you can easily double the recipe. I love these little desserts because they don’t leave much leftovers and are perfect for several people.
Most potato chips are made with nuts or oats, but this one is different and has quickly become one of our favorites. It’s similar to cobbler, but the taste is incredible and it doesn’t last more than a day when we make it. The combination of cinnamon, nutmeg and peach is really delicious. Well… I’m thinking about how to make it with various fruits?!
