This frosted French toast will quickly become your favorite! First….absolutely delicious, and secondly, it’s very easy! This French toast is baked. This means not standing in the kitchen in front of a hot skillet or griddle. We love this dish because it’s easy enough for a quick breakfast and fancy enough to serve guests. It’s a recipe you’ll want to make over and over again.
Ingredients for Frosted French Toast:
Thick sliced bread (using our own bread) bread made from sourdoughyou can easily use French bread)
egg
Whipped cream

vanilla flavoring
frosted flakes cereal
Recipe note:
- This French toast uses thick bread. Regular sandwich bread just won’t work for this recipe.
- You can also chop up some pecan nuts and sprinkle them on top before putting them in the oven.
- I enjoy this French toast with a side of fresh fruit and a slice of bacon.
