The SVX was less exciting to drive than other Japanese sports coupes of the time, as it was more about luxury and style than performance. Cars like the Acura NSX, Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX-7 and Mitsubishi 3000GT come to mind. I also think of the Dodge Stealth R/T, the American version of the Mitsubishi 3000GT.
