How the Asus ROG Ally stacks up to the Steam Deck and other gaming PCs

Asus ROG Ally is a true portable gaming PC powered by AMD Z1 Extreme, the most powerful processor ever in a handheld. Whether you’re into aesthetics made for gamers or not, $699.99 ROG Ally is packed with amazing specs and features that set it apart from its biggest competitor, the Steam Deck.

There are many things that set ROG Ally apart from its competitors, and it’s not just Steam decks. Along with a faster processor and RAM specs, to my knowledge, it’s also the first handheld with a faster UHS-II microSD card slot, allowing faster transfer speeds than its competitors. It also runs Windows 11 software out of the box instead of Linux like the Steam Deck runs by default. This is nothing new, but it ensures ROG Ally is compatible with more games, whether it’s on Steam, PC Game Pass, or the Epic Games Store.

Well, let’s leave the rest of the story to the table below.
