In Japan, there is a vocational school that has become famous for wild custom car projects by its students called Nippon Automobile College (NATS). One of his recent projects we showcased was a Lexus SC (Toyota Soarer) converted into a new Supra convertible with a “Furious and Furious” paint scheme. Therefore, this Nissan Z SUV custom is No from NATS. It is one of the vocational schools authorized by Nissan. in Kyoto (Nissan Automobile College)This is one of two retro mashups the students have been working on for the custom show circuit, including the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon.

Most of the details can be found in the above video shot by the university itself. It combines key features and components of the latest Nissan Z with the second generation Nissan Murano SUV. It’s called the Fairlady X. Uses real Z headlights, taillights, grille and rear spoiler.in progress photos school twitter account, you can see that it also has a Z steering wheel with a sense of luxury. But there are additional custom touches beyond Nissan parts: In the video, the student highlights his R35 Nissan GT-R flush-fit door with his handle on the door. A portion of the GT-R grille was also used to ensure the grille matched the tall front end proportions. The SUV also features custom wide fenders front and rear and wide Rays wheels.

I wasn’t sure if performance upgrades were made. They are certainly welcomed for their performance looks, but they would take a lot more work to add to a project that is very large and has custom bodywork. Plus, this isn’t the only car the students have been working on.of school social media accounts It shows that we are working on a blend of a 1960s Nissan Fairlady Roadster (Datsun Roadster in the US) and a second generation Nissan March.

Nissan Fairlady X will be exhibited at the Tokyo Auto Salon. I hope March will be the same. If not, we hope the finished product is shared on the school’s social media pages.
