all purpose flour
salt
baking powder
barley
molasses
buttermilk
egg
oil

Delicious Molasses Oat Bread is a bread you’ll want to make again and again.
Serving: 6 serving
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tea spoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/4 cup barley
- 1/2 cup molasses I used sorghum molasses.you can use whatever you have
- 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoon oil using canola
- 1 tea spoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup walnut pieces

Whisk whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, oats, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl.

Whisk buttermilk, eggs, oil and molasses in a small bowl. Combine the two bowls and mix well with a spoon.

Spray a 9 x 4 bread pan and add dough. Sprinkle the walnuts over the dough.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45-50 minutes.

Chill for 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan. Make 1 loaf.
