Tesla’s START training program at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) recently reached an important milestone. This program has produced many certified Tesla START graduates.
The Tesla START Manufacturing Program has trained 75 TMCC students to date. About 30 Tesla START graduates have been certified as technicians with basic and technical knowledge. This program will give you the skills and knowledge you need to work at Tesla.

The partnership between Tesla and TMCC began when 15 students attended training at the TMCC William N. Pennington Applied Technology Center. A Nevada-based community college now has one of his Tesla classrooms. A dedicated Tesla space is equipped with eight of his fully functional robots for robotics and automation courses.
TMCC President Dr. Karin Hilgersom said: Fox Reno Tesla’s START program at the university serves as a model for EV automaker training programs with other two-year colleges. Tesla expanded his START training program to Austin Community College in Texas in June 2021. His START training program in Texas provides skills and knowledge to students. Qualify to work at Tesla Giga Texas.
The EV maker also partnered with Miami-Dade College in Florida to Teach your mechanic to properly service your Tesla car. In February, Tesla also rolled out its Manufacturing Development Program (MDP), which aims to give internal high school students a career path.
