Welcome to the weekend, my friend! I am going to Santa Fe next weekend with my sisters for a few days and can’t wait. It’s been a long time since my last escape. Do you have a favorite spot in Santa Fe? Take notes if you need to try something new.

on the blog This week: The Baked Green Chili Chicken Burrito with Crispy Edges is full of cheesy goodness, an easy-to-assemble mealtime hit, and full of green chile flavor.

Combining potatoes, red and green peppers, and yellow onions, our colorful and flavorful breakfast skillet is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Flavorful and subtly spicy stuffed Italian peppers stuffed with ground beef and rice, seasoned with plenty of Italian spices and topped with cheese.

white bean and corn enchiladas Serve with green chilli sauce and plenty of cheese flavor as a dip with meals or snack times.

Naturally sweet and bursting with blueberry freshness, Banana Blueberry Pancakes are a staple for our weekday breakfasts. Wondering how to eat pancakes on a busy weekday morning?? Check out all the tips in our post.

A warm slice of baked apple covered in a cinnamon brown sugar streusel topping is all you need to make this easy apple crisp recipe.

What I crave: this chocolate cream pie Valerie’s Kitchen is a chocolate loving dream come true. I hadn’t eaten chocolate pie in years. This has to happen soon!

My Favorites This week misen vegetable peelerMy friend Rebecca gave it to me a few weeks ago and I honestly didn’t think I would like it. (I’ve never been a big fan of Y-shaped peelers in the past.) But she was right. It is sharp and easy to use.

What I see: Glass Onion: A Knife Out Mystery If you had asked me what I thought after 30 minutes of this movie, I would have said, “I’m so sick of it,” and nearly turned it off. But I was watching it with my kids and wanted to give it a chance.

Fortunately, it turned out to be an excellent watch. It’s a wonderful mix of the expected and the unexpected, and has a cast that I love to watch. Ed Norton and Daniel Craig are great actors, with some unexpected cameos. By the end of the movie, we were all almost cheering. It was funny and sweet and gross and cranky and a lot of fun to watch.

what i am reading: Cooking for Jeffrey: The Barefoot Contessa CookbookIna Garten has been married to her husband, Jeffrey, for over 50 years, and this cookbook is full of his favorite recipes.

A nice photo of the two is tucked into the page. I’m not a celebrity cookbook collector, but the story in this article made me smile. I was flipping through it and flagged a few recipes to try.

“Finally, brethren, in all truth, in all honor, in all justice, in all purity, in all admirable, in all praiseworthy, if there is anything good, or anything worthy of praise, , think about these things.” Philippians 4:8

I wish you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
