This syrup recipe can be whipped up in under 5 minutes. Start by mixing the flour and sugar together well before adding the milk. If you don’t have any lumps of flour and sugar, adding the milk should leave you with no lumps of syrup.
Heat over low to medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Avoid hard boiling. It is enough to simmer over low heat. Continue to whisk. Add peanut butter and heat until smooth.
