With just two ingredients (maple syrup 2: creamy peanut butter 1: 1) you can make a delicious peanut butter maple syrup.

I took my grandmother’s waffle sauce and added peanut butter to create a creamy, rich, smooth syrup that’s sure to make a peanut butter lover’s breakfast dream come true.

It’s delicious on pancakes, but try drizzling a little of this syrup on a bowl of diced apples and bananas with chopped peanuts and mini chocolate chips. Perfect for snack time snacks.

Or, the next time you enjoy ice cream before bed, add a dash of leftover peanut butter pancake syrup.

This syrup recipe can be whipped up in under 5 minutes. Start by mixing the flour and sugar together well before adding the milk. If you don’t have any lumps of flour and sugar, adding the milk should leave you with no lumps of syrup.

Heat over low to medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Avoid hard boiling. It is enough to simmer over low heat. Continue to whisk. Add peanut butter and heat until smooth.
