Ingredients needed for blueberry coffee cake:
all purpose flour
white granulated sugar
baking powder
baking soda
nutmeg
butter
milk
egg
vanilla extract

As you can see, it’s made with very simple ingredients and most of it is on hand. Cherry pie filling is also easy to use, making it very versatile. The crumble topping really added a nice texture and I topped it with whipped cream and loved it. It’s delicious with or without fresh cream, and it’s also delicious with coffee.
Simple replace or add:
- You can use cherry pie filling
- You can also substitute almond or lemon extract for vanilla
- You can use unsweetened milk instead of milk
- You can add your favorite nuts to the dough
- You can add cinnamon to the topping

This blueberry coffee cake is easy to make and perfect for brunch or small gatherings.
Portion: 9 one person
Ingredients for blueberry cake:
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 tea spoon baking powder
- 1/4 tea spoon baking soda
- 1/4 tea spoon nutmeg
- 8 tablespoon 1 or 1/2 cup butter or stick melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tea spoon vanilla extract
- 1 20 oz tinned blueberry pie filling
Ingredients for the crumble topping:
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon butter melted

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and nutmeg

Add melted butter, milk, eggs and vanilla extract and mix.

Spray a 9×9 baking dish with cooking spray and spread the flour mixture evenly over the bottom of the dish.

Spread blueberry pie filling over flour mixture.
