You can easily add blueberries to this recipe. Simply fold before baking. I think one cup would be perfect. My family loves this recipe, it’s so easy to make and perfect for brunch! You can also top it with other fruits once it’s out of the oven.

  • 2 egg beaten a little
  • 1 1/2 cup Bisquick’s
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup pecan nuts chopped (optional)
  • 3-4 slice cooked and crushed bacon option
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place the first 6 ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Spray an 8X8-inch baking dish with cooking spray, then pour in the mixture.

  • Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.

  • Add the crumbled bacon on top and cook an additional 5 to 6 minutes or until the center of the knife is clean.

  • Cut into squares and serve with maple syrup. Serves 6-8 people
