This root beer cake was a delicious recipe posted on. supper club! We were looking for a simple cake to make for a gathering on the balcony. Jacqueline Colwell Klamath Falls, Oregon They sent me a delicious cake. After reading the ingredients, I thought this was going to be a lot of fun and very simple. This cake is ready very quickly, so it always helps! I am very happy that there are only 5 ingredients.

Simple ingredients required:

Yellow Cake Mix – I used Betty Crocker Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix

12oz Can of Root Beer – I used Barq Root Beer

This cake turns out to be very simple, but if you like root beer, you’ll love this combination. The flavor of the cake is also wonderful, and it’s made with root beer and poured over the cake to make it even more moist. Jacqueline, thank you so much for sending me this recipe. I will definitely save this recipe as all my friends and family loved it! I had never made a root beer cake before, but it was such a fun recipe.

  • I think pecan nuts would be a great addition to this cake.
  • It can be made in a 9X13 just by adjusting the times according to the cake mix box and the cream cheese frosting would be great too!
  • This cake could be stored in the refrigerator.

This root beer cake is so easy and delicious!

  • 1 15.25 oz Box super moist yellow cake mix
  • 1 12 oz canned root beer
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 3 egg
  • 1/2 cup candy store sugar
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

  • Spray the bundt pan with non-stick spray

  • 4 ounces of root beer

  • Blend cake mix, 8 ounces root beer, vegetable oil, and eggs in a mixer.

  • Mix 4 ounces of root beer with confectioner’s sugar and store in the refrigerator

  • Bake the cake according to the time indicated on the cake mix box. Let cool for 15 minutes before removing from mold.

  • Poke lots of holes in the cake and pour the confectioner’s sugar and root beer mixture over the cake.

We sprinkled the cake with sugar.
