Sausage and cabbage noodles are simple and delicious. It comes together quickly and makes for the perfect weekday dinner. Add a cornbread muffin and you’re done.
Ingredients needed for sausage and cabbage noodles:
smoked sausage, sliced
white or yellow onion
chopped cabbage
minced garlic
Cream cheese
frozen peas
Pimentos
butter
egg noodles, uncooked
Olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe note:
- You can also use polish sausage, andouille sausage, or bacon in this dish.
- Hate peas? leave them
- Feel free to add seasonings and seasonings your family likes.

sausage cabbage and noodles
This dish is easy and delicious! A perfect weekday dinner!
Serving: Four serving
- 1 14 oz package of sliced smoked sausage
- 1 cup chopped white or yellow onion
- 6-7 cup chopped cabbage about 1/2 head
- 1 tea spoon minced garlic
- Four ounce of cream cheese
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 jar of peppers
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 8 ounce of egg noodles not cooked
- Olive oil

Cook the noodles according to package directions and set aside. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or skillet and sauté the smoked sausages and onions until lightly browned. Next, add butter and finely chopped cabbage, and simmer over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes until the cabbage is soft. Combine peas, green peppers, cream cheese and egg noodles and mix well.
