What I’m reading: subject By Curtis Sittenfeld. This is a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice, and I enjoyed reading it. If you’re a die-hard Jane Austen fan, this might not be for you, but I had a lot of fun.
What I hear: Foxlore By the wives of the crane. My middle son Ben is so grateful to have introduced this to me. They’re an indie folk band and I really enjoyed everything I’ve heard so far.
