Once upon a time, my boys wanted a smoothie or breakfast, and we were going to the greengrocer. I decided to omit the grapes and make my favorite green smoothie.
Necessity is the mother of invention, so I tweaked the recipe a bit and am happy with the resulting spinach-banana smoothie. All 3 boys enjoyed this and I could barely take a sip myself.

To make this recipe you will need the following ingredients:
- frozen banana
- baby spinach
- orange juice

Add banana, spinach and orange juice to blender. Then puree until smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.
This smoothie is easy to make with just 3 ingredients and tastes just as good as it says. However, you can also garnish with fresh sliced bananas or oranges. It goes well with whipped cream and chia seeds.
